About Bonco Garage Doors · West Jordan, UT

It started as my father-in-law's shop.

Bonco grew out of Salt Lake Garage Doors, passed down through the family, and is now run by the third generation out of West Jordan. Same valley, same promise, sixty years later.

1964- One family, one valley, one trade

Salt Lake Garage Doors became Bonco Garage & Doors. The business started in 1964 as Salt Lake Garage Doors — the owner's father-in-law's garage door company. It was handed down within the family, renamed Bonco, and has stayed in the family ever since.

WHO WE ARE

That's the whole origin, told the way it actually happened. No garage-founded-in-a-recession legend, no expansion story. One family, one valley, one trade, sixty years.

The third generation is on the trucks now. When you call, you're talking to the family — not to a dispatcher who will pass your address to whoever is closest.

WHY THE SHOP STILL EXISTS

Homeowners deserve an honest garage door company.

Too many companies in this trade charge an arm and a leg and underdeliver — a new door quoted when a roller was the problem, one spring replaced instead of two, a price that moves depending on the driveway it's quoted in.

Bonco is the small, family-run alternative: we show up when we say we will, do the job right the first time with quality parts, and charge what the job costs. Nobody here earns more by selling you the bigger repair, which is the only structural reason to trust anyone in this business.

We treat veterans and the elderly like family.

No badge, no program, no discount code. It means the customers most often talked into a door they don't need get the same honest diagnosis, the same fair price, and someone who explains it properly before anything is signed.

And we take care of the community we live in.

Sixty years in one valley means the customer is usually a neighbour, and the review is written by someone we'll see at the store. That's a better quality-control system than any warranty document.

If it's ever not right, we come back and make it right. Same number, no forms, no argument.
