The big companies charge an arm and a leg. We charge what's fair.
Bonco is the small shop. That's the whole pitch. Sixty years in one valley means we still run into last year's customers at the grocery store. It's a strong incentive to do the job right.
Plenty of homeowners in West Jordan have already paid for the other version of this: a full door quoted when a $20 roller was the problem, a spring replaced singly so the second one snaps next winter, a technician who has never seen the house before and won't see it again.
We do it the other way. We show up when we say we will, diagnose the whole door instead of the part that snapped, quote the repair and the replacement honestly so you can choose, and use parts that are meant to last rather than the cheapest thing on the truck.

The guys at Bonco transformed my house with new framing from two small single doors to a full size double. They did incredible and reasonable work. The door was ordered, framed, and installed within two weeks of my first contact with Lonnie
Quick response, they helped with selecting the best door for my needs. Great quality door and amazing service, also best deal compaired to other estimates. These guys are one and done. 10/10
Highly recommended! Installed my door about a year ago. Had a small issue with one of the brackets, came out same day and fixed it in 10 minutes! They are friendly, prompt and do good work.
I've used Bonco Garage Doors a few times and they have never let me down. We do property management and have several rentals. They always quick to respond and fair and fair on their pricing.
Guys that came to fix our door were super professional and easy to work with! Pricing was reasonable and they were quick to fix our garage door. Highly recommend!
We were needing to get our garage doors replaced and we were referred to Lonnie at Bonco Garage Doors. Lonnie was AWESOME when he came to my home and provided the quote.
Bonco Garage doors did an exceptional job on our home. We had them install 4 new black insulated raised panel garage doors (replaced two old existing ones). Lonnie and his crew are very meticulous in their work.
Service was great and quick. They knew exactly what to fix from our description. They tightened and lubricated the door. They also made sure we had a surge protector to guard against damage to the opener that can occur during a power outage.
The service was done meticulously as though the service person was working on his own garage. Can’t say enough good things about this company. They are very fair and honest by providing options, not just trying to up-sale unnecessarily.
Bronco garage doors was amazing. They showed up on time and gave me multiple options to choose from. I would definitely use them again.
SERVICES
What we fix, replace, and install.
Residential work is most of what we do. Every job starts the same way: look at the whole door, then tell you what it needs.
Spring Repair & Replacement
Torsion and extension springs measured to spec, replaced in pairs, wound and balanced, then cycle-tested.
Garage Door Repair
Cables, tracks, rollers, hinges, panels, seals and sensors — nine common failures, diagnosed at the cause.
Opener repair & installation
Motors, gears, logic boards, remotes, keypads and sensors — plus belt-drive, chain-drive and wall-mount installs.
Installation & replacement
Insulated steel, carriage house, modern aluminum and glass, or wood — measured, fitted and balanced to your opening.
Maintenance & tune-up
The annual service that keeps a ten-dollar part from becoming a Saturday emergency.
Commercial & overhead doors
Shops, warehouses and docks — specified to the duty cycle the door actually sees.
ROOT CAUSE, NOT THE BROKEN PART
An off-track door is usually a cable problem.
A garage door is one system: two springs holding the door's weight, cables carrying that weight down to the drums, rollers riding a track, and an opener that only has to overcome friction. When one part goes, it's almost always because another was already failing.
Door hangs crooked, one side low
→ a lift cable has jumped or frayed at the drum, not a bent panel
Grinding, then a jam halfway
→ seized rollers chewing the track, not a failing opener
Opener straining and overheating
→ spring balance is off, so the motor is lifting weight it was never meant to
So every visit starts with the full multi-point inspection and safety check — springs, cables, drums, rollers, track alignment, hinges, opener force and travel, sensors — before anyone quotes anything.
OUR PROCESS
Four steps, every job, no exceptions
The order matters. Diagnosing before quoting is what keeps a $20 roller from turning into a new door.
01
Full inspection and safety check
Springs, cables, drums, rollers, hinges, track alignment, panels, seals, sensors, opener force and travel. Ten minutes that stops us guessing.
02
Root-cause diagnosis
We tell you what failed and what caused it to fail — those are usually two different parts, and only one of them is worth paying to fix twice.
03
Honest options and a clear quote
Repair and replacement, both priced in plain language before anything is touched. Nobody on our truck earns more by selling you the bigger job.
04
Repair, balance, test, clean up
Quality parts fitted, door hand-balanced, cycle-tested, auto-reverse confirmed — and the old parts leave with us.
AREAS WE SERVICE
South Jordan and the rest of the Salt Lake Valley
We work out of West Jordan and cover the valley from Salt Lake City down to Bluffdale — everything inside the outline on the map.
Eleven cities, one drive time.
That's not a program with a form. It means the people who most often get talked into a new door get the same honest diagnosis and the same fair price as everyone else — and someone who explains it properly.

BEFORE YOU CALL
Questions we get before we get to the driveway.
How fast can you get here for a broken spring?
Broken springs go to the front of the line — the door is unusable and the car is usually stuck inside. Call (801) 755-4624 and we will tell you honestly when a truck can be at your driveway rather than promising a window we cannot hold. [Same-day and after-hours scope: confirm with client.]
Should I repair or replace my garage door?
If the panels are sound and the door is under roughly twenty years old, a repair is almost always the better spend. Replacement earns its keep when panels are cracked or rusting through, when the same failure keeps coming back, or when a single-layer uninsulated door is costing you every Utah winter. We will show you both numbers and let you choose.
Why did my spring break in the cold?
Springs fail on a cycle count, not a calendar. Cold steel is less forgiving, so a spring already near the end of its life gives out on the first hard morning. The cold snap did not wear it out — it just picked the day.
Do you charge for an estimate?
[Estimate and free-quote policy: confirm with client before publishing.] What we can promise now: you get the repair option and the replacement option with a clear price on each, and nobody on our truck earns anything by talking you into the bigger one.
What parts do you use, and why does it matter?
High-cycle springs, sealed-bearing rollers, and professional-grade hardware instead of the cheapest components available. Builder-grade parts are the reason a lot of doors in the valley fail again within a year, and replacing them properly once is cheaper than replacing them twice.
STILL STUCK?
West Jordan, South Jordan, and the rest of the valley.
Describe the noise, the crooked side, or the motor that runs without moving anything — most of the time we can name the failure on the phone before a truck leaves the shop.
